Question Where are the power connections?

Trying to find the power connections for the shore power and transfer switch.

I'm trying to install a Progressive on board EMS-HW30C and can't find where the connections are for the shore power.

Mine is also under the bed. I installed my hw30c between the transfer switch and the circuit breaker box to cover both shore power and generator power.

You don't need to cover the generator but you left your transfer switch un protected.

2 things if the ems does not see "clean" power there is no current flow, so the transfer switch is not unprotected, and secondly generators do not always provide clean power, over voltage, under voltage, less than/more than 60 cycles.

I would pull the panel out and look for #10 romex behind it and see where it goes. You might even find space behind the panel for the EMS. I mounted ours beside the panel and re-routed the #10 romex into the EMS. But, it was right under a dinette seat and super-easy to access. Yes, you want an EMS wired after the transfer switch and shore power connection so power from either goes through the EMS.
