Where do I go next?

I tried going through the channels on the Forest River site; however, despite an initial response and promise of help from Don Dobecki (who is the contact for our Forester), we cannot get any further communication. It has been weeks. We have called (goes to voicemail which no one returns) and emailed (similarly ignored). What is one step up from the managers listed on the webpage?

Our overhead cab is full of water, which is damaging electronics as well as causing rot and mold. We tried going through our dealer (Camper's Inn of Philadelphia - don't EVER buy from there) but despite three trips in the shop this summer, they are unable to fix the leak.

Other than the BBB, whom can we contact?

I would recommend an RV repair and collision center, not a dealer, who will work with your warranty and FR to get it repaired. I have never taken my 3170 back to the dealer for repair due to distance. My RV repair center has always honored their timeframe and worked with both factory, extended and RV insurance to get reimbursement.
Seek them out, get references. If you know You will get it repaired and to speedup the repair process, guarantee payment up front. They will usually start work before pre approval. On my last repair, I picked up my RV the same day as the insurance approval. Saved 30days in turn-a-round. Check on their warranty on the repair. 90 days to One year is usually offered. Just stay engaged with the shop.
Good luck,

Good luck,
I can't agree with the above. Forest River may tell you that the issue is due to improper maintenance of the seals. This could mean that you are responsible for a costly repair.

i believe that Forest River is only responsible for caulking and seams for 120 days after delivery to dealer. Then the dealer has responsibility to maintain. Once you purchase you have to check every 90 days. ( its a crappy policy and you can guess how i know this)

Wow! In all the literature that came with my Forester, nowhere did I see anything about FR only standing behind the caulking and seals for 120 days after delivery to dealer. That would mean no warranty for most that have sat on a dealer lot and I cannot imagine a dealer going through their inventory maintaining them at all.

Had this issue with my 2016 Sunseeker MBS. Ended up taking out the dome light and siphoning 7 gallons out of the cabover. It didn't enter the upper bunk area but did drench the dash. If this is your issue, let me know and I'll give you more detail.

You need SOMEONE KNOWLEDGABLE to tear out; dry up; remove moisture; kill mold spores, ASAP. Cover that roof to ensure no more damage. Take advice and find a collision center and get it in there!! Mold travels with moisture. Just watch hurricane area homes and see the damage!! Do NOT count on FR if you are out of warranty and they have not responded. ITS YOUR RV;
SAVE IT!! Fight later. Take photos; get write ups.

PS: having 35 years in auto/rv/boat and mobile home finance, let me tell you this: fix it and then sell it if you do not feel comfortable any longer. REPO or VOLUNTARY SURRENDER is not in your best interest......period.

Dan is not going to help you, his job is to deny claims (based on my experience). I got their attention going through my state attorney general and the BBB.
