Passenger side, compartment behind the rear wheels. There is another door in that compartment that contains the water pump, fresh water drain and the water filter. JH

We have looked pretty much everywhere on our 2015 Freelander 22QB. The storage compartment does not have any kind of door. Do we have to unscrew some of the paneling or flooring in there to find it? We have not looked under the bed yet. That would also mean unscrewing something after removing the mattress.

The fresh water drain valve is not really a valve, but generally just a cap on the end of the drain line under the belly of your RV. The cap simply unscrews to drain out the water.

That is exactly where it is. It is a brass valve.

Unless someone can direct you to it, you might try this. Climb under your RV and locate the fresh water tank. It's connected to the fill tube. Then look around for a drain tube hanging down. Trace the drain tube up into your unit to see where your drain valve might be. If you have one, its going to be between the drain line and the fresh water tank.

That method should get you close.

Correct on the location. On my 2015, 2501 Forester it's a quarter turn valve located on the blue water pipe. This will drain the fresh water tank.

I dont know where it will be located in the 26th century Forester?
In the old age of the 21st century, the valve might be located behind a round PVC cover on the front wall of the helper side back compartment; right under the fresh water reservoir.
Look around.

Stinkielee you may get a better response in the coachmen Sub-Forum not the Forester Sub-Forum.
The fresh water tank drain is located inside the third passenger side storage compartment from the front. There is a black access panel that is covering the water filter and water lines up. The drain should be to the left of the water filter.

I only responded when, after searching ALL the forums for an answer, here was someone with a question similar to mine.
