? White poles in cabinet

Does anybody know what the small white metal poles are for. When we were looking at the 3011ds we noticed them either in a cabinet or sitting on a table.

Do they have rubber ends like a cane? If so maybe I can help we had them in our 2860DS Sunseeker they were used to prop the end of the bed up when the slide is in. Just incase someone sits on the end of the bed I guess.

Now for my question we now have a 3051S Forester and it has a longer bed but we didn't get any poles. Do the new ones come with poles to support the bed? If so I am missing mine. Hope this helps both of us.

You didn't say how big. If they are about 3/8" diameter and have springs in them with rubber ends, ( See photo) They are probably Fridge bars. They are to put across the door of the fridge to keep items from moving around or falling out while traveling.

Ok mine are not small like Flybob posted. I took small to mean short mine are about 1" diameter. I will have to look in the refrig and see what we have in there. I just learn something new everyday on here.

Slide out bars, used to keep the slide in.

The bars should be used if the slide fails and you have to manually put the slide in. These bars would then be used to keep the slide in while driving.

To me, they are a little disappointing. I liked the adjustable slide out bars a lot better. I've already had one of the new type become dislodged in transit and drop down between the side and the facia of the slide out. DW didn't realize this and extended the slide, which in turn, pushed the facia trim out a couple of inches. Simple fix, but still......

Slide out bars if you have a problem with the slide not staying in when driving.

The foot of the bed on the 3051s is designed to slide under the closets when the slide is in. We even pull our bedding back off the foot of the bed to make sure we have enough clearance when we bring in the slide.

We refer to these poles as "Slide Stoppers" in case your slide fails and you need to manually bring the slide in. If the slide fails you will need to manually crank/push the slide in and stick these poles between the slide and interior wall of the motorhome.

Depending on the floor plan you may not get any. We only use them on Schwintek and power gear slides in which you would only receive two per slide.
