Window Manufacturer

Does anyone know who the window manufacturer is for the sliding windows in the Forester series of RV's? We have a 3011DS model.

I don't know the manufacturer, but I did have one broken awhile back and I ordered it through the local dealer.

Thanks for the info. Do you know if the dealer ordered it from the manufacturer or from a local glass repair shop?

The manufacturer is stamped on the glass on my 3051s. It's Cleer Vision. They are in Elkhart, IN. Their website is www.cleervision.com.

Thanks for the info creative. From their website it looks like we may have the CT series of windows shown below. Does that sound correct?

They ordered it from the manufacturer. I needed one of the bunk Windows and it was a little over $200. That was the complete frame and window assembly. I didn't check directly with the manufacturer. Maybe it would be a little cheaper.

Brian,

Was it just broken glass? If so, why would they have to replace the complete window?

It was awhile ago. I think I tried to get just the glass and wound up having to get the complete assembly. I went to a local glass company and it would have been more expensive to have them make the glass piece.

I slung a rock through one of the big side sliders on our 3011. Called a local glass company. They came out to the house looked at the job, said they had to order the type of glass needed. Did and replaced just the broken piece. Charged $175.

Quick update. all the dealer did to try and repair the leak was silicone along the top and some of the side window. Not sure that I'm happy about that. Asked them about why the window sits so far out of from the sidewall and they did not know why r if it was supposed to be that way.
