1st Geo Pro Long trip

Left this morning on our first long trip since we got our Geo Pro 17PR. We have a family reunion in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada and decided to head up there then down to the Grand Canyon.
We have made this trip plenty but never with a tt. Seen Glacier National Park, Devils Tower, Rushmore, Yellowstone, Crazy Horse, Black Hills, Moab, Badlands and everything in between but have never made it down to the Grand Canyon. Really been looking forward to it.

One of our rest stops in Paxico, Kansas. We stopped for lunch in Wamego and visited the OZ Museum. It was ok for stretching our legs

Need to be in Lethbridge Friday for he weekend so had to push a little today and got in 766 miles. Stopped in Limon, Colorado at a KOA for tonight.

Driving a 2016 GMC Canyon with the 3.6 and it’s doing pretty good. You know the tt is back there but engine temp never changed, trans temp stayed around 180 & hit 190 just a couple times. Usually stays around 150 without toeing. Am getting between 8 & 10 mpg. The power was there any time I needed it. Cruised around 65-70 all day. Didn’t make much difference in toe mode or not. Will see how it goes when we get in the mountains.
Coming from St. Charles, MO and decided to take interstate to Denver then North and stay out of South Dakota, Black Hills this first trip.
Been a long day so need to shower and get some sleep.
Night all.

We stayed two nights at the Limon, CO. KOA last month. About the best pool on the trip and our granddaughters had a blast there.
