2013/2014 trip

My wife and I along with Buster and Winnie [our 2 half pug half jack Russell left home on 11-10. home is Vancouver Wa. our first stop was salem Or to have lunch with wifes friends. After lunch we got lost while looking for a place to fuel up. after fueling we made it to 3 rivers casino in Florence Or, where we spent the night. the Following day we traveled down the Oregon coast to the Mill casino. We took advantage of three comped nights in the RV park. Not winning any money there we went back across the coast range and stayed at Seven Feathers RV park. Didn't go in the casino. Taking off the next morning we stopped in Ashland Or for fuel. Buster hadn't been feeling well,[proably too much table scraps.] he lives to eat and Winnie lives to play ball. I should also add that we have a prime time 295rst fifth wheel that we tow with a 2013 Dodge 2500 with diesel. we have been averaging 12 to 13 mpg so far according to the computer. On Friday the 15th we arrived at Rolling hills casino. We dry camped in the lot.If you think we frequent casinos a lot you are very right. The next day we made it to Oroville Ca. Yep we stayed at the KOA RV park and casino. We stayed for 2 days. we escaped this casino only to find ourselves going over Donner pass heading into Nevada. We passed thru Reno and fueled in Fernley also getting def. Loves has it at the pump but it flows real slow into the 8 gallon tank. From there we made it to Hawthorne Nv. we dry camped in the casino lot of El Capitans. Won a little. Tuesday the 19th we left stopping at tonapah for lunch yep, in a casino. We made it to Pahrump Nv @230. We are staying at the Lakeside casino and rv park. we will be here til after the first of the year. It has rained Thursday and today Friday. I try to walk around the lake 2 times a day and bike around once or so. Buster and Winnie love it. we have seen a lot of the same people this year as last. Some stay year round. I think it would be too hot in the summer here. We are staying next to the lake for 2 weeks and then moving back a row. Buster is just fine now and wants to eat everything. won some money at the Nugget casino today. the fireplace is keeping us nice and warm, with a little help from a small space heater. No problems with the 5er that I haven't been able to fix myself. Two times I have dragged the spare tire pulling out of gas station driveways. Bent the metal bar that helps hold the spare on. Nothing a big hammer can't fix. But I will replace the metal bar as bending it weakens it. I will write more later. I'll be celebrating when my football bets win this weekend.

We decided to leave pahrump early as the nights were getting quite cold. We left on Dec 4.stopped at laughlin nv for two days then stayed in salome azfor a couple days. We have been in yuma az since Dec 8. Weve been keeping busy going to the movies, going to algdones mx. Even been to the casinos around here a time or two. We are staying here in yuma at a Rv lot in the foothills. It is a single lot fully fenced. That is nice when the dogs go out. There is also a shed with a washer. It was 79 here yesterday. Turned on the ac for a while.we go on a 3day 2nite bus trip to rocky point mx later in Jan. Buster and winnie will go to the doggie hotel. They seem to like it there. We will leave yuma on Jan 31 heading back to pahrump taking about a week stopping at a few places. Pahrump should be a little warmer by then.
