It's been a few years ago but we stayed at the KOA in Moab. We rented an air conditioned jeep and drove around in Canyon Lands wandering from the east to the west side. At one point we came across semi trailers and buses. Come to find out they were setting up a movie shoot. Don't know what movie. There were several places we parked and hiked back into some scenic areas. Came out on the west side and drove north, then back east and stopped at Dead Horse Point. Spectacular views. The following day we drove north to Arches another spectacular day. That evening we took a "light show" boat trip Colorado river. The boat goes up river as the sun sets then it just coasts it's way back while a truck pulls this huge light shining on the canyon walls for a really nice light show set to music. I believe the following day we went to a rodeo on the south side of Moab. Take lots of pictures... it is a beautiful area!
