Almost moved to Cayucos years ago, when I was trying to get a firefighter position in Atascadero.
My dream place to live.

If we decide to go farther, Jalama is a nice place, but the road in and out is narrow, marginally maintained, and time-consuming.

I haven't heard of Faria, and it's so close to home. Such a pretty beach. How difficult is the road for a 30' class C to navigate?
Scary about the launches. We live really close to Vandenburg and they don't evacuate us when they launch.

Since Faria is the easy one to get to, I'm not sure which one you are asking about the difficulty.
Faria is duck-soup-simple. Easy-peasy for even forty-foot Class A's. It's between Carpenteria and Ventura.
The same sized ones can get to Jalama, only it takes more time.

Ooops, I meant Jalama is the one that is so close to home. That was the park I was asking about as far as navigating a 30' on their road. Thanks for sharing about Jalama. Have to check out Faria too.

The first time we went to Jalama we had a Mini-Winnie Class C. No problem, just slow-going.
Don't be in a big hurry, and it's easy.
Summertime sees a lot of yellow-jacket wasps, so if you have reactions, be aware of it.
