Between Vegas and Yellowstone...

Any suggestions as to where to stop between Vegas and Yellowstone? I don't think our Korean friends can handle a non-stop drive of 8 hours...

Wouldn't Bryce Canyon, Utah be between those? If so that is nice. Rose's campground is good.

Grand Canyon is a four hour drive from Vegas. Is that on the way?

Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks are both great for stops on the way. Then there is Grand Teton just south of Yellowstone.

We are doing part of your route in reverse in May. We are not doing Yellowstone ths time. Our stops that you might consider are Craters of the Moon in Idaho, Salt Lake, Bryce (4 days at Rubie's), Vegas and then on to S Cal. Depending on your time and meandering you could also consider Capital Reef NP or Arches/Canyon Lands NPs.

Kind of a different route, but you can't go wrong with the Reno/Lake Tahoe area. From Reno, stops in Snake Canyon ID and/or in the Ruby Mountains of Eastern Nevada are beautiful places to stay.

Not sure if you are asking for sites along the way or just an overnight. If you are looking to stop for an overnight, the trip from LV to Park City would be about 8 hours with fuel stops and lunch break. Then the next day gets you to YS.

we chose Deer Creek SP...

We decided on Deer Creek State park. site DC021
Campground Details - Deer Creek State Park, UT - ReserveAmerica - [UT]
It has a full hook-up so we can empty and clean out everything before YS.

Anyone else been there?
