We signed up at the Pomona RV Show a few years ago, and still "win" the same stuff once a month with a Lotto Scratch-off that they send out. Never failed to win.

That said, some friends went, and were pressured constantly by multiple salesfolks. They did what they had to, to get the gas card, but didn't listen to enough pitches to get the tablet (no-name junk, as I recall).

Another friend joined and goes to the CG in Julian every other year or so, but will never cover their costs, IMO.

Too bad...I knew it had to be a scam or sales pitch of some sort. Oh well.

My TT is 3 years old and I still get those lotto scratch-off tickets from them regularly. And just like what Fred said about the scratch-offs I always "win" the same stuff too.

Whether or not its a fair trade depends upon you. Is this a place that you see yourself camping at? I hate sales pitches so I'm out.

Nope I'm out...I can't stand sales pitches or pushy salesmen. I guess I'm just idealistic and wish for things like singing up for a drawing and actually winning something that doesn't end up either costing you a bad experience or a lot of money. I guess I am weird by today's standards but say I had a product or a service and wanted to hold a raffle to offer someone a prize to see such service or product I would not make it a conditional win.

I'm with you on this!

With another company my prizes suddenly changed when my annual salary didn't meet their requirement. Originally I was offered a good size jackpot but it was downsize to just two nights of free camping and a sales pitch tossed in.

Where in Washington State?
We are just across the water from Port Angeles on Vancouver Island.
Come for a visit. Your dollar makes it worthwhile.

The scratcher is a joke, to get the gas card reward you need to first buy the gas, then send in receipts. The tablet is a piece of junk. If they are giving you free nights it is probably Sunday-Thursday.

All that being said, I am a member and use the Julian site all year long and am planning a trip next spring to one of their river sites.
