as was said, can't say much because of violating forum rules. i'll try to condense it w/o getting too political.

the bottom line is that the state has changed drastically over the past 20 years and many of us born and raised here feel that it's not the state we grew up in.
the laws, rules, taxes and regulations are becoming too much and changing what the state used to stand for.

We left the U.S. (So. Cal) ten years ago. I wouldn't even consider California if we moved back. The cost of living there is ridiculous, so you have to live far away from a major city, and gangs, taxes, and regulations are going to make it implode. Insurance costs (non-health care) are a nightmare.

Nor Cal FROG gig

Ok I'll give it a go. So let have a rally. I'm open to input on dates and place. Should we look at mid November? Before the holidays start? Or do we need to wait til next spring. I personally like doing both. Everyone speak up. Let's show we got frog spirit. We could even do a big pre-thanksgiving pot luck feast. I'm going to Mc Arthur Burney SP soon. I know it has the room. What do y'all think?

FROG gig site and time

Ok I can see the value of spring. But I'm fairly new to CA so I don't know these camp grounds. I want the one that look least like a parking lot with brown grass. Trees good the more the better. What's it going to take to get more input on this plan? Come on people speak up. You can't assume you fellow froggers are obnoxious let's meet then we will know it for sure.

Well this will sound biased but central Cali is...well...central. Both north and south could attend within a few hours. I have not been to San Benito but it looks decent and is pretty centrally located. Again I say suggest spring. Week of April 20th.
