Anybody been to, or planning to go to Death Valley anytime soon? If you've been there, where did you stay and what type of unit do you have? We're seriously considering going there in Jan.

Planning on Feb for us and staying at Furnance Creek (NPS) and they have around 20 spots with full hook ups plus lots of sites with water only. Never been there before so can not tell anything about it.

Death Valley is one of my favorite places. I've never stayed there in an RV, always tent camped. There are hook ups at Stovepipe Wells and Panamint Springs. There is a gas station near Furnace Creek, but it's expensive.

We stayed at Furnace Creek last year and discovered that for a few dollars you can use the pool and spa! Give it a try ! They have full hook ups but we were van camping at that time. Nice campground .

If you stay at Stovepipe Wells, they also allow the use of the pool and showers for a couple of bucks. Don't remember if they had a spa, but I think they do. They also have about 15 or 20 full hookup sites.

Spent lots of time in Death Valley during our motorcycling days. We always liked Panamint Springs - small store and restaurant and rustic motel. Great little place. Have breakfast on the east deck. While there don't miss Dante's View - you won't believe it.

Also stop at the Inn at Furnace Creek for lunch or a drink. Another place you won't forget.
