Another thing to remember is if you do put your cooler or sealed food in a car or truck make sure it is covered and out of site. Many of the bears in Yosemite have learned that even though they can't smell the food anything that looks like a cooler or lunch box will have some. They have also learned they are stronger than any window and will break in when they think they can get a free meal.
