Glacier Road Question

In looking at a map and my GPS app there is a route (Hwy 2) that could take me from Kalispel, Mt. on the west side of Glacier to St Mary on the east side. Can someone tell me if that road is safe to pull a 30 ft fifth wheel?
Appreciate any input/suggestions.

You can safely tow your 5th wheel anywhere on US 2 from Everett, WA to St Ignace, MI. We traveled it Fall of 2014 in our 35' class A with a toad. It is mostly 2 - lane with good shoulders. We were impressed that virtually all of the land on either side of t he highway was being used productively for farming, forest, etc.

Yep no problem. About 1/2 from west side to East is Glacier Meadow Campground good place to camp. Nothing fancy but great people.

How long have you lived in Coupeville? I lived there 75 - 79. was in the Navy at NAS Whidbey Isl. Lived off of Zylstra rd. That was some good times up there.. I really miss the beauty of the Island and Deception Pass.

We have been here since 2000. I have lived in the Everett/Seattle area since 1959.

And yes, it's hard to leave this area to travel.
