Anybody know what the mountain areas are like from Salt Lake east on I-80? Towing 5er, so trying to figure best route. Thanks!

Going to Nashville!

I80 isn't called the loneliest road for nothing. It's not like I10 that's for sure. Forget Panera, Starbucks, McDonalds, Wendy's etc. the road is good and there are places to stop for gas and food. When we went thru last spring, the rest areas were nasty. Scenery is great. And as stated before, watch out for winds around Rawlins and Laramie. We stayed overnite at Rawlins KOA and felt like we were gonna get blown over.

Lol. Didn't someone say they were "scared" or "nervous" about this rally? That would be the perfect welcoming party spot!!

Did I hit a 'touchy spot' ? Not looking at the site map, I think there might be a spot or two just behind the 'high rent district', right next to, if not in, the water. Can I help park?

Hey Bob we are going to be there Wednesday as well. We just discussed our travel plans last night and going to take an extra day down to have a relaxing drive instead. I wonder what kind of trouble can be created prior to Thursday?????

We are in site 53, hope we are safe...
