Good campgrounds to see Hollywood attractions?

My DW and children would like to do a tour of Hollywood. Can anyone recommend a decent campground for a couple nights?

Thanks,

there's is no campground anywhere near Hollywood.

one that's the most recommended, is Valencia Travel Village, north of Hollywood.
it's about 30-45 minutes away, depending on traffic.

Dockweiler, right next to LAX is about the only other one that's somewhat close.
but if you're talking summer, i'm sure all the campsites are already gone for this year.

bikendan is right about it being harder to find a spot at this time of the year but checking doesn't hurt. Try doing a search for campgrounds near Hollywood & LA. You might end up outside of LA but hopefully within a reasonable drive.

When is your trip? During summer (up to late October) I would recommend hook ups.

Hey folks, thanks for the recommendations! We are at the Valencia for 2 or 3 nights...

Now that we are here, any tourist advice to pass on?

Thanks again
