Elind- be sure to pick up your earplugs from the hotel gift shop! Those 2am freight trains get old fast!!

Also run down to Bearazona- it's a nice time

I just came from a resort in Casa Grande where the trains ran all night. After two months there it was sleeping music to my ears. DW didn't notice it either cause my snoring was louder than the trains.

We would also like to make this same destination trip some day, so this is good info. Hopefully we will be full timers in a few years. Or mostly full time anyway.

DW just got pics of the family of five at a motel next to the campground last Thursday. This one was still in velvet.

The picture was taken Sept 10 2012, nice time of year to be there, the crowds are smaller and the temps are lower.

Well we finally got in late yesterday around 6:00 PM and got setup in our site around 7:30 PM. We are here for two weeks. Then we go to the North rim for a week and then we will head home for a spell. We saw several deer coming into the campgrounds. Hoping to see more as time goes on. We are taking it easy today trying to get used to the altitude and resting after the trip in yesterday. We will start riding around this afternoon or early in the morning to decide what we want to do and where we want to go first.
