Last week I had to unexpectedly drive from Sacramento California to Atlanta Georgia. This was due to the Delta glitch. I took I 80 all the way into Utah and from that point it was south. While there was some construction they were not lengthy delays. I checked the roads with the Eyes of an RV traveler since we are going to be going that direction in reverse next year heading up to Alaska and I believe the travel will be good.

We have been staying in Chowchilla at The Lakes RV Resort several times a year. In my opinion it is the nicest RV park in the area with security gate, nice long and wide spaces. We have never felt unsafe staying there.
