Welcome!

Welcome to the lifestyle and to the forum. I didn't start until last year at age 55. It is addictive. Just got back from a 2 week trip to the Badlands/Mt. Rushmore and Yellowstone. What a great life! It is never too late!

Beer? In the 70's around Belleville, Illinois, the choices were Schlitz and Pabst Blue Ribbon. The Pabst commercials sold me. If it won a blue ribbon, it had to be good, right?

I love Rocky Mountain National Park. That is one place we would go to for my birthday in Sept. Wildlife and the Aspen are golden.

Blatz is the only beer I have purchased and threw in the trash. Remember Brew 102?

I suspect there was more fearful things than bears outside your tent, too.

I do remember the name,,, but don't think I ever drank it ???
My X father in law and all his buddies all drank Blatz,,, was it Meisterbrau that came in a bottle so big it took 2 hands to hold it ???
I heard on the news yesterday that Stroh's is coming back next month,,, sounds like Pabst is going to be brewing it in Detroit ???

Hamm's?

Remember the song "I'm Gonna Hire a Wino To Decorate My House"? Funniest song I can remember. Sorta nice tune, too. Had a line "When the Hamm's Bear says it's closing time.........."
