Was a fun trip we went from Michigan to Iowa, south as far as Colorado springs back up winter park/Fraser than to Estes park. From there to black hills and my Rushmore/crazy horse. Saw a lot missed ally of sights as well. We did it in about 12 days could have spent a month and made many more stops and more hikes in Colorado.

Yep....lots to see here in CO.
What model Rockwood is that?
Are you towing with a 3/4 Van?
I have a 8317SS, but feel its a bit to heavy to tow with my 2500 Express.

The van is a 2010 3500 1 ton with the newer 6 speed trans. A few passes we did not break any speed records up but it towed well in lower gears up. Pulls straight and winds holds it own. We hit a storm in Wyoming with 50-60 cross winds (hand to pull over once we found a place) and We have 4 chillons need the room the crew cab was a little tight.

The trailer is a 8316.
