5 days without contact in the RV/camping world does not seem to be unusual unless these folks check in with you daily. Don't for get to let the forum know if they contact you.

Recent trip from OH into KY I had no cell service within Daniel Boone NF for the 5 days I was there. If I texted, which would be trying to send... at one spot on a pass, the text would be sent and any new ones delivered. Other than that... no phone service until I crossed over the pass from Kentucky into North Carolina at the line. I hope this is all it is.

I am not related and I will be offline myself next 5 days. This is a BOLO message. The family says they are missing.

If it's out of the ordinary that they usually check-in, but didn't, and you can't reach them on the phone, I suggest you contact the New Mexico State Police and then the Colorado State Patrol.

MNtraveler is not a relative. He merely shared a 'be on the lookout' notice for the rest of us.

I assumed that the OP had a personal interest in this couple, i.e. the reason for the BOLO. In the case of "missing person(s)" BOLO's are better left up to law enforcement, not Facebook or on-line forums.

Why? Social media responds very quickly and is wide spread. I don't see how it can hurt if you are just asking for info for a missing couple. We get Amber alerts all the time via social media, dont see how this is any different.

Lynn Brecht posted to facebook yesterday that the grandparents are safe, but just out of cellphone coverage. It's all good now. The site team is closing this thread since there is nothing to be done.
