They couldn't keep the greatest generation from "their" memorial. Sure would have looked good on social media arresting the very people who provided our freedom. It's important you excercise your right in '14.

We called recreation.gov yesterday, they told us that our payment for a COE campground next weekend would be credited to our credit card after the date of the reservation has passed if the campground does not reopen before then and the reservation is not used. Their phone number is 877-444-6777, can not get on their website, it shut down.

True about the (Greatest Generation) they helped bring us the (Structures,roads,ect.in the National as well as State Park systems. WPA,CCC,and many more.They and the people Before them all made what we have Today! Hey look what OUR gen has done,Rock and Roll Hall of Fame? Youroo!!

parks are closed-alternates

at Moab----saw the Dead Horse area and great scenery.
other areas to drive through and be amazed.

Seems time to post another friendly moderator note to this thread- I know tensions are running high with the shut down. (Believe, I really know- I'm a contractor on an EPA program.) But, we need to ensure that this thread stays with the camping side of things and avoids the politics. We've had a good run so far, with only a little work required of the moderation team. Let's keep it up.
