Sorry, I can't be of any help. Those are two places that I like to drive thru and not stop.

If you're gonna do a search, spell your first city like this =====> Wichita Falls

We have members here who have stayed in a park just off US 287 northwest of downtown. You might do a search and find where one of the recommended this park.

When in Lubbock we stay at Mesa Verde Rv Park in Wollforth. Just outside Lubbock but close to all the new stores and resturants. Good clean park.

camping in Wichita Falls and Lubbock tx

I plan to travel from Ok city to Carlsbad NP the last of may. This will be my first out of state trip. After doing online research I plan to spend the overnights at one of these RV parks as I am not planning an extended stay here. They seemed to have good reviews.

1. Wichita River Bend Rv Park $17.00

2. Wichita Falls RV Park $45.00

3. Lubbock Texas KOA

I plan to be traveling for about 6 weeks in the western states. I will be taking in a lot of the NP sites. Trying to keep it down to 250/300 miles per day.
