Starting from outside NYC. This is not a destination trip, it is a journey. Keep the ideas coming. I was on a business trip this week in Denver and my Uber driver recommended driving through the Rockies on the way back (west to east) not east to west. He claimed inclines/declines are easier.

Lee's FerryRainbow Bri

Lee's Ferry is below Glen Canyon Dam. On a hot summer day sitting by the 40 degree water is like having an AC on. Beautiful place. Lake Powell is the most beautiful place I've ever been. Rent a boat for a day or take a tour boat to Rainbow Bridge. x2 on all of southern Utah's National Parks.

I used to live in Denver. E to W, or W to E it's all the same. With an RV, try to avoid I-70 west of Denver.
