OK City to Ogden

We are helping our son move from Oklahoma to Utah within the next month and I was wondering about the roads through Wyoming. We are planning on taking I80. We are pulling a Rockwood 2608WS with a Ford F-150 4x4 Super Crew/Ecoboost. We've driven through part of the Appalachians with the trailer but this will be our first time pulling through the Rockies.
Thanks for any input.
Ruth

I80 will be fine. There are some big hills to pull up and down but you will be fine. Once you get to Evanston Wyoming the big hills are done and you will drive thru echo canyon until you turn onto I84 and head to Ogden. You will have two more small canyons to drive thru before reaching Ogden but no major hills. I grew up in Wyoming in bridger valley and lived in Ogden for awhile so I know that area quite well.

I've driven that route several times and pulled a trailer a few times. Keep your weight down (minimal water) and use lower gears on the down grades and you should be fine.
