The 'Spruce Goose' is at the "Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum" in McMinnville Oregon. If your remotely interest in aviation, you have to visit.
There is are 2 building each dedicated to air and space.
BUT,,, the third build is a 747 jet turned into a water park.

Hug Point south of Canon Beach is a great place to explore. When the tide is out it gives access to a beach to the north where there are few people. Ecola State park is another wonderful place just north of Canon Beach. 2nd on Fort Stevens, what is left of the Peter Iredale can be seen on the beach there. It's a wrecked ship from many years ago.

The Oregon Coast Aquarium is located in Newport, Oregon. I strongly recommend the State Parks. Many of them have full hookups. The largest is Fort Stevens near Astoria. One that is nearly on the beach is Cape Lookout that is west of Tillamook. We’ll be staying at Beverly Beach State Park for two weeks this summer.

We are just a few short days from leaving for Lincoln City. Planning to stay at Devils Lake State Rec area and visit the aquarium while there. If anyone's in the neighborhood next week, PM me.

Very few if any tent sites have power or cable @ Beverly Beach.
Also....vets can stay for 10 days free in a 30 day period.

Devil's Lake State Park still has a lot of water in some sites.

Then the sites I stayed on either have been converted to full or partial hook up for RVs, The entire 1st loop on the left were all tent sites with power & cable when I was there 20 months back. All the tent sites near the Yurts also had power back then. Guess that changed.

Lived in Tillamook for 35 years, been gone for 22, don't miss anything about the Oregon coast. Most of Oregon on the east side of the Cascades is a lot of fun for motorcycling, not so much on the west side, too much traffic.

We have not had the opportunity to make the trip yet, but you could check out www.loveyourrv.com or look up "Love your RV" on YouTube.
Ray and his wife make the trip up and down the coast regularly and document their experience on video that they post on their YouTube channel.

X2. We used to stay there a couple of times a year but the place can be a mud hole except for high summer- when it's very crowded.

We are currently here at Devil's Lake and our sites are dry. That being said, we are staying on the B loop towards the check in station. This is the farthest area from the lake and there is no standing water.

On a side note, Monday night, my buddy and I witnessed a woman drive her Sprinter Airstream through the campground...awning out, power cord attached and the water hose, faucet and the 3' metal down pipe. Police were called by the camp host and she was cited for DUI and slept it off in the campground.

Now that is funny but sad.
