Quartzsite?

I have to ask. I am from Arizona. What is the draw to Quartzsite? I have always thought of it as a place to get fuel or a bathroom break. Never once have I thought “Honey, this is the place to go camping”

I believe the draw is the warm weather and inexpensive sites.

In Quartzsite now. First time for us. Seems like they do allot of shows. RV show is this week. Rock & Gem show last week. Also has a huge Flea Market.

Of course really cheap boondocking out in the desert with warm weather too!

Having a good time tho once will probably be good for us. Florida is allot closer for us Buckeyes and there are beaches.

You live in Arizona, and you don't know what the draw is?
It's called WEATHER!

Hi,

I like it here because it's warm, cheap, and I can't get this kind of sunset in the middle of a northern Illinois winter.

I watched a group of nomadic vagabonds at the RTR event on youtube. While I get the free camping and all, but all I could see was a lot of dirt and rocks.

To each their own I guess....

I think it is a cheap place to meet up with fellow RVers. I've been a few times and always seem to meet new people. I have a Polaris 4 seater RZR and give people rides. It's fun to look at other people's Rigs and their tricks to making camping more fun.

Never been big on the shopping there...it's like a big for market with overpriced stuff. However I like meeting new people and checking out there cool stuff.
