Hi Iggy,
We are planning to stay all of January and maybe February as well. We are big rockhounds and need to see those shows. That's more interesting to us than the RV shows even. :-)

Actually, we were talking this morning about maybe even getting a lot for a year. I realize that it's not for everyone, but we are loving it here and considering it as a possible permanent winter retirement place. I love hanging out with a bunch of old folks playing with rocks. :-)

Sounds like you are having a good time in Q'site. Over the years I have noticed all of as you said playing with rocks etc - so not surprised you are liking it.

It depends on where you want to stay. There's always BLM Boondocking. The Rose will have room.

If you are an Escapee there are about 15 chapter and BOF group sites on BLM land. I think one of the biggest is the boomers. For more info go to the Escapee Web site.
