According to the weather-in-motion map we're supposed to be getting a toad choker. Nyet, just light misting rain.
DH is happy though, he's playing the second day of a golf tournament. And Fred the wonder dog is happy cuz he can still chase squirrels and he's traumatized by lightning and thunder.
So dry here we've been under a burn ban.
We're experiencing an early fall due to the drought and leaves are piling up! We've got huge oaks all around our house, at least 50 years old...probably 70 years. The shade cuts down on the power bill but lordy lordy the leaf raking and burning is a chore!
