Redstone NF CG in CO

Has anyone stayed at this CG? It appears that water hookup is also avail w electricity. This is not the norm for most USNF CGs. Also curious how bad the highway noise is from SH 133?

We stayed there for 5 nights last year in July (site #16). Yes, we had both water & electric hookup. No sewer & no dump station nearby that we could locate. Didn't notice any highway noise & really enjoyed our stay despite it being quite cool & rainy.

Only complaint anyone had was the CG showers were cold as the water heaters are solar powered and we didn't see much sun. Oh, I guess the DW might have a complaint about the snake that startled her too - turned out to be a small gardener snake.

Be sure to visit the nearby Marble quarry! Independence Pass is well worth the drive too if you have the time - but trailers over a stated length are not allowed on the road up the pass.
