I agree with others that the stated site lengths are based on the length of the TT only. I like to get the longest site I can in campgrounds I've not been to before...and then we walk the CG & make note of the ones we like the best for any future visits we might make.
As far as room for your truck, I would say it depends on the length of your TT, the size of your TV & the actual layout of the site...but in general most sites that will accommodate your TT should have room to park your TV as I don't remember there being any overflow parking...but I do recall seeing a lot of TVs parked across the front of the site between the road & the camper.
Be sure to look into potential ongoing road construction along your route as some of the roads are still be repaired due to the floods. They are generally open...but sometimes are closed down to one way traffic & you may have a wait.
We did have the experience once of watching the Rangers chase a 2 year old bear cub right through the campground past our site and down to the river. It's a beautiful place...enjoy your visit!
