Route

Thinking about a trip with my 42’ from Santa Fe NM to the Aspen Co area. Need to know the best route and any good suggestions about RV parks

If you come up through Colorado on 285/24, there are some beautiful places to stay in between Salida and Leadville (including Nathrop, Buena Vista, and Twin Lakes). Are you looking for rv parks with full hookups or can you handle some/all boondocking/dry sites? We mostly stick to dry site & dispersed, so I'm of more help there. :-)

Staying at Riverside RV park? We spent a weekend last September. Nice park, just try to get a site not along the main road. Town is small, but has a great brew pub (Bottom Shelf Brewery).

Safe and happy travels.

That’s where we r staying. Wanted to stay where I normally stay in Durango at Aspen Rose RV park but waited to long to make reservations. On cancellation list just in case. Short trip from dallas- 4 nights Santa Fe and 4 nights in Bayfield . We will drive the 19 miles in Durango if so not get cancellation
