Rt 40 or rt 80 is the question

Moving on from Salt lake city to Denver in the morning, we would like to get first hand information. If we could.

rt 40 is 35 miles shorter than rt 80,however 40 looks as if it will be less boring.

Need some opinions

Thanks, John

I would opt for going I-40, you are correct it is less boring. I went to California from Virginia in May and took 40 out and 80 back, 40 was much better, more to see and do. Remember that I-40 use to be the old Rt. 66, which runs pretty much next to it the whole way.....
