Santa Cruz California and stayed at one of the KOA RV Parks

Just thought I’d drop a line on our vacation last week

We went to Santa Cruz California and stayed at one of the KOA RV Parks. While there we went to the Boardwalk and the Monterrey Bay Aquarium. Weather was so nice we decided to stay an extra day at the Seacliff State beach. We lucked out and they had a few stops left for RV’s. There was a lottery for the spots and won the last full hookup site. It was about 10 feet from the beach sand. On the way home we stopped off at the Casa De Fruita for some Apricot wine. Kids took rides on the train and Merry go round.

If any of you get to the Santa Cruz area of California, there is a lot to see and do.

Only hiccup was close to home the RV started shaking a lot.
Might have a bad tire so the RV is out of commission until I can sort it out.

Santa Cruz is a great destination, the DW and our furry kids were there over spring break. We stayed at the Santa Cruz Redwoods RV park and it was awesome - no surf but being under those giant trees was a treat. Besides the usual places around Santa Cruz, we went down to Castorville and got some of the best artichokes you can find!

Like above Santa Cruz is great we stayed at Smith Redwoods rv Park (great campground) with the big trees. Which is next to Henrey Cowel Redwoods state park and of course we had lunch on the Warf, great place.
