We are planning a trip from Texas to Colorado Springs, then dropping down to Santa Fe for a few nights. Any suggestions on rv parks. Going to stay at garden of the gods rv in Colorado Springs. We have looked at rv park reviews website but was hoping for recommendations from experience.

That was one on my short list. Will look at it again, would like to be close to everything. Will definitely check out Bobcat Bites, after all eating is one of our favorite pastimes. Thanks for the input.

Depending on what type of food you want, Santa Fe has it all. Try Harry's roadhouse off Old Pecos trail. For good Mexican, The Shed just off the Plaza is good as well. Many choices in SantaFe.

I second Rancheros de Santa Fe - very rustic campground not too far from town. It is all unpaved so very dusty.

And Harry's- their breakfast burrito and coffee cake are worth the visit. Yum! We were planning to go there in June but are headed to San Antonio instead this trip.

Enjoy!

About an hour North of Santa Fe is Oho Caliente Hot Spring Resort. They have an RV park next to the resort. It's in the middle of nowhere but it is a great place to relax. Great spa, great restaurant and very peaceful.

There is a hiking trail behind the resort that takes you to some old Indian ruins.

Ate at the Shed last night, it was excellent. Headed to Harry,s roadhouse for a late breakfast before driving up to Taos. Thanks for the great recommendations.
