Great looking campground, outside of Stanley ID. Great view of Mt McGown across the lake. Campsites were ok, and some great hiking trails in the area. Weather was great, a bit windy most days, but temps were in the 80s during the day, dropping to as low as the mid-30s during the night.
Problem with campground was kids and parents too drunk to care what the kids were doing.
Constant riding of bikes on gravel road, slamming on their brakes kicking up gravel, dust and lost of noise, and they all seemed to want to scream at each other. Camp hose was worthless to stop them. (I wrote the forest service ranger station and received a reply back saying they would have a long talk with the host and the company the host works for. I was probably not the only one to write or call.)
(EXIF files contain GPS coordinates for those interested in such things.)
