Teton Pass

Heading to Teton Valley RV Park in Victor, ID via Hwy 191 from Rock Springs, WY. Any suggestions on Teton Pass vs Hwy 26 thru Alpine?

I would not suggest Teton pass with a camper. It's very steep and curvy. Some others may say its ok. But since you can take another road and if you have the time I would avoid it. But that's just me.

Last year we traveled the Teton Pass through Victor pulling our new 34 ft 5th wheel. It was one of the most terrifying drives we have made. Needless to say, we just passed through that area last wk, traveling through Alpine. We love The Tetons and Yellowstone, and will only travel the Alpine route in the future.

Arrived in Victor, ID this afternoon via Hwy 26 thru Alpine to Swan Valley and Hwy 31 to Victor. Very nice drive, no problems with curves or hills although GPS went nuts; didn't recognize Hwy 31. Definitely recommend this route over Hwy 22 thru Teton Pass.
