Tuscon and Mesa parks

We are heading into Arizona for the winter for the first time and are looking at places to stay for a month in Tucson and then Mesa. We are researching sites but without seeing or having been there. Does anyone have any suggestions for good spots.
We spent our time in Florida last year and we got into a park with mostly park models and no rv section. Very long month when you are looked down on for being rv'er.

We like Desert Trails RV Park on the west side near the Arizona - Sonora Desert Museum and Old Tucson movie studio. Very friendly owners and a great group of RVers. It's well maintained and the list of amenities and activities goes on and on. Check out the website. It's built at the site of an old (60's) water park, and some of the old features can still be seen. Kind of fun and quirky.

Thanks oldcat ......I looked at them and it looks great. There are some reviews about muddy site's if it gets wet no cable and wifi. Can you suggest an area to ask for.

boo798,

We like sites M17 - M21. They are wide and back up to the old water slide. M34 - M53 have the most shade. If you need 50 amp then M24 - M33 are nice. There is wifi at the park and lots of OTA TV channels.

Here's a pic of our rig looking down from the top of the water slide, and some stuff left from the theme park.

While in Tucson, be sure to visit Biosphere2 and the Titan Missile Museum.

Safe travels.

Mission View

We stayed for about a week last winter at Mission View RV Park just a couple miles east(?) of Tucson and on a Native American reservation. There is an old Spanish mission on the rez that's maybe a mile or so from the RV park. The park is beautiful, with a very nice indoor pool. The place is also near the Titan missile silo museum, which is fascinating. There is tons of stuff to do in Tucson area. We're planning two weeks there this winter.
