Visit to Westport Beach RV park

We stayed here for 4 nights on the Northern California coast. Here are some pics if anyone decides to head this direction.

We Stayed there July 20-22 2013 , It was the first time for us. We really enjoyed it. Will probably make this our beat the heat spot. There is a State Camp Ground a couple miles up the coast that freinds use all the time. It is up on the bluffs and is a dry camp ground. We might give it a try some time.

a friend of mine just bought this campground around 6 months ago.
he also owns Caspar Beach campground and has put in a lot of work and changed the staff out completely.

the place has had a terrible reputation for many years, mainly due to the horrible staff there.
even when it became a KOA, it changed very little. just visit RVParksReview to look at the comments.

my friend hopes to turn all that negativity around and make it a much more desirable place to stay at.

I hope your friend succeeds Dan. It looks like that park is in an excellent location and it won't take much to turn the reviews around to the positive again.

bikendan, You can pass it along to your friend that he and his staff are doing a great job. Our site was clean and the staff I talked with were curtious and helpfull. Like I said we plan on returning soon.
