Wapiti Campground Wyoming

Approx. 15 miles east of Yellowstone's east entrance/exit and easy walking distance to the North Fork Shoshone River.

Plenty of trees between campsites for privacy. Kids were well behaved and so were the parents.

Nice place; would go back again.

Cody is about 20 miles to the east, and there is a great dog park there for those interested.

(EXIF files contain GPS coordinates for those interested in such things.)

From walking/ATV bridge over the Shoshone River

Easy day drive to head up to Red Lodge MT and do the Beartooth Highway...

Looks like you are having a great trip. I grew up in that part of the world.
