West yellowstone drive?

trying to plan a trip to Yellowstone next summer If anyone has stayed at Grizzly park in west Yellowstone we would like to know how long and far is the drive into some of the sights?? Thanks for any info!

we stayed at the KOA in west Yellowstone. It is a little further out than grizzly RV but we still did not find it too out of the way. I think we were about 20 minutes from the lower loop. The gate to the park is right there in west Yellowstone.
Others have also recommended grizzly RV. reservations are a must during the summer.

Last summer we spent a week in Yellowstone and stayed at Grizzly. A great place! Our only goal was to spend the complete time in the park. It was convenient and would stay there again...

Give some serious consideration to Yellowstone Holiday RV Campground & Marina. Located on the edge of Hebgen Lake, it is about 15 minutes drive from the west entrance and then about 20 minutes from Old Faithful. May be a bit further out than Grizzly but it is nowhere near as busy. Lakeside sites were wonderful and I was able to launch my kayak straight from the site. Full hook ups, wifi and all services but out of town and away from the tourists that crowd YNP and the town.

X2 on Grizzly, great park and very close to YNP entrance. The Wolf and Grizzly Discovery Center is a very interesting attraction.

We stayed at Grizzly a few years ago. Nice place, very quiet and clean. Entrance to YNP is less than 5 minutes, and within a short drive you come to the main road to go north or south, with many interesting spots either way. We saw many wildlife just past the entrance. We used Grizzly as a base to view the western side of the park. Went south and saw Old Faithful, etc. After a couple nights we went to the east side of the park and camped at Fishing Bridge and used that as a base to view the eastern side of the park.
