Where in Sacramento

On the road with another couple at the end of the month and looking for a decent RV park for one night stay. Plan on going to the railroad museum and old town. Any suggestions? The RV Park review site doesn't have much.....

The KOA in West Sacramento is the most convenient to the downtown area. We stayed there just for an overnight a couple of years ago and it seemed ok. We weren't there long enough to check out the amenities.

We went to the Railway Museum last year and thought it was pretty amazing. Really first class. And my non-railway friends liked it too.

We have stayed at Cal Expo and plan on using it whenever we go to Sac. It isn't fancy but you are in a secure location, near everything. We usually stay for week at a time for around $235.

We booked at the old KOA which is now Sac West RV park, thanks Coupe.

My second time to the railroad museum, other couple traveling with us, he just retired from the UP and has been wanting to go there for years. He's gonna like it. Thanks everyone for the input.
