Yes we do plan on using this Military campground. Max stay 30 days then have to leave for min 14 days before you can return.
This will be one of them.
Thanks

For a higher end Newport Beach Resort and Marina | Newport Dunes in Newport Beach.
Yes Newport Beach resort is another one we have on the list now.
This seems to be the nicest resort in Southern California.
On the list.

Where do you like to stay being from California?

Since you're retired USAF - you might want to think about the campsites at Camp Pendleton, they're right on the beach. We're only about 50 miles from there, we've never spent any time there; everyone that finds outs that Bob is retired USAF tell us we should.

Since we're near the ocean we tend to camp in the desert, in our younger days did a lot of trail riding. For the summer you really want to be closer to the water. Riverside, San Bernadino and inland San Diego counties would almost as warm at AZ.

Unless you made reservations 6 months in advance, any So Cal coastal state parks sites are already gone.
