Regarding Teton - we stayed at Coulter Bay in 2006 with our 28' rig, and it was tight. Diesel was $5/gal at the park station.

In Yellowstone, we stated at Fishing Bridge. A little tight, but a good base of operations to tour Yellowstone.

Someone else asked about Mt. Rushmore in S. Dakota - Big Pine Campground which is a little west of Custer, or Custer State Park. We stayed at Big Pine in Sept '07.

just to clarify, Colter Bay RV Park is tight but Colter Bay Campground is not. huge campsites and a big reason we chose to stay there instead of the tight RV Park.
but we don't need hookups.

I've camped Yellowstone in September twice including 2013. saw snow both times. temps can drop below freezing at night and be short sleeves by afternoon. its our favorite time to be there, lots of animal activity, leaves changing and smaller crowds. if you go late September, check Jackson, WY for elk herds. amazing when 1000s of elk gather in the reserve.

Stayed in Colter Bay RV park last summer in 40' MH pulling a toad.... Found sites to be very spacious with no problem getting in or out.... Most all sites are pull-thru so no issue there.... We loved the CG and will always stay there when in that area... Fuel is very expensive so go in full....

I prefer the full hookup sites at Colter Bay Village RV park. The pine trees give the appearance of narrow roads and sites but we didn’t have any problems. Here are a few pics of the RV park. The Wildcat photos are from 2004 while the Silverback photos are from last year.

Here's a link to a website with some great information about the upcoming 2014 season. This would be a good one to bookmark if you plan to go to Yellowstone this year.

Here’s a link to another reminded that Yellowstone might be called a park but in reality it is true wilderness. Yellowstone Visitor Killed By Falling Tree - Yellowstone National Park (U.S. National Park Service)

People would benefit from reading the literature everyone is given when they enter the park for the first time and educate themselves on the dangers associated nature. I have to admit though, being killed by a falling snag is pretty rare.
