1st time RV owner

Hello all! I am excited to say that my wife and I are picking up our first RV tomorrow afternoon! We did a few months of searching going between 5th wheel toy haulers, to Class A gas powered, to used diesel pushers and finally made a decision last weekend. We are picking up a 2017 Forest River Georgetown 364TS from MHSRV in Alvarado Texas. We could not be happier with the experience so far, except for the bank being a little picky.

We already have a site booked for this weekend, so we are going to jump right in running. The kids cant wait.

I look forward to learning from this forum and hope to be able to contribute one day.

Chris

Congratulations, hope the weather does not interfere with your reservations. Let us know how the trip goes by reporting back here after the fact.

Will do! It will be a hot one, at least 102° for the high each day.

We bought a 2015 GT 364S in January of last year. We've put 13,000 miles on it already. Simply can't get enough of it. With three teenagers, the bunk arrangement is great and having two full baths is a real blessing. Make maintaining and upgrading your GT like a "hobby". There are going to be problems...we all have them to one degree or the other. Keep a good attitude through whatever comes your way and it will make the whole experience something you'll enjoy every time you hit the road.

Congratulations, we purchased our 364TS on June 15th, 2027. We love ours and we have some details that have required warranty work during the shake out period. Trust me there will be items that will need to be adjusted but this is typical for any motorhome. Enjoy the road and all the new adventures that will create memories for the family.

From a Winter Texan to a Texan, welcome to the wonderful world of RVing. You have many areas in your own state that are absolutely beautiful and well worth a visit such as the Sonora Caverns, Palo Duro Canyon, Bracketville, Bandera, Hill Country, etc. Have fun and enjoy.

Congrats!! We took delivery of our 369 in June. Almost made the trip to Alvarado TX (they seem to sell A LOT of Georgetowns), but decided to order and get it coming to a local dealership.

Welcome to the forum. This is a great place!
