The cord unplugs from the LED light bar I purchased. It "fishes" easily through the space between MW and cabinet.

Is that some white wire that goes from the fixture to the wall or some protective shield?

That is a short piece of adhesive backed Wiremold. I picked up 12v from the light under the cabinet next to the MW. A brief description of my install is on pg 2 of this thread.

Pete, question, does the modesty panel on the right side interfere with the opening of the cabinet door, i.e., keep it from opening completely?

Jim.....left cabinet door does not open all the way. It stops at about 75 degrees.

For our purposes though, it opens wide enough to retrieve whatever we might have stored in the cabinet. Pics attached.
