2005 Georgetown XL 370 Manual

We just purchased a 2005 Georgetown 37. It did not come with the owners manual. Does anyone know where I can find a hardcopy or digital version of the manual?

Chuck from Knik, Alaska

I would try contacting FR to see if they can hook you up. It used to be April Connor, she was really good at taking care of things, but I think there is someone else now.

April's replacement is Russ Stull
Apparently he's using April's email address (as of Jan 10th anyway).

If the manual for 2005 is anything like the one the original owner passed on to me when we bought our '02 rig, about all it's useful for is lighting your campfire. A single document covers every RV model FR has ever built and is so generic as to be completely useless.

Are you having a problem with an appliance or just need some fire starter?

If an appliance what is it and what model number and the brand name.

Thanks All

I wanted a comprehensive manual to carry in the RV. I did not realize a generic manual covering most RV's is what FR provides. I am an ex electrician and pipe fitter with a background in mechanics and some carpentry so I guess I will access the thread for info on the appliances if I ever have a problem.

Thanks for the responses, they were much appreciated.

+1 It may not even be good enough for that.

Hi and welcome cayjr1.
I see you are in Alaska. Spent 8 years in the Tanana Valley.
Sorry no comprehensive manual exists. You will have to find individual manuals for different pieces of equipment such as Dometic for the refrigerator, Lippert for the hydraulics, Ford for the frame, engine and drive train.

If you need any specific manuals let us know what you are looking for an you will be surprised what you will find here.
For now I have attached a generic Forest River manual that is not worth much.
