I went to Home Depot and found these 4" Surface bolts that I think is better and easier for the long term to secure the sliding draw from moving while travelling.
Prime-Line 4 in. Bronze Surface Bolt-U 10307 at The Home Depot

Here are a few manuf. pictures.

I plan on center right mounting to the right side of each shelf and the pin will move right into the metal piece mounted on the outer wall of the pantry walls.

had everything ready to spend the weekend doing the same project in ours BUT have to wait again another big snow storm comming this weekend.

Here are my final pictures of the pantry mod after I installed the slide locks.
It was easy and seem they will hold the slide solid while travelling.
