MY DW will only drive on interstate highways and only between rest stops.
She will never drive in any other locations.
She doesn't have the feel for the long MH and car (53ft) so she feels safe going straight on the highways.

We had a rear tire on a pickup blow out while pulling a loaded utility trailer about 15 years ago. We jackknifed and slid into the guardrail, but did not tip over. Minimal damage, but my wife is still nervous on occasion about it. I had to disconnect the brake pedal on the passenger side of the mh (LOL). Good luck with getting your dw to drive it.

It's on the passenger side. Can't find it? That's because it is invisible! It is only detectable by the occupant of the passenger seat, and only activated by an emergency (real or perceived). To disconnect it, just tell the occupant it is disconnected and pretty soon they will quit trying to use it. (LOL).

Its been known that the passenger side brake pedal can be dis-engaged automatically by the occupant on that side taking "a pill" prior to departure.

We got between 7.5 and 8 if kept under 62 mph. At 70 mph it dropped down to 6.5
